Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using LumAlma ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
LumAlma is a wellness and self-awareness mobile application providing mood tracking, journaling, meditations and AI-generated reflections. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
3. Account
You must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for keeping your password secure. You may delete your account at any time in Settings.
4. Subscriptions and refunds
Premium features are available via auto-renewing subscriptions sold through the App Store. Refunds are handled directly by Apple per their policies. You can cancel anytime in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → LumAlma.
5. User content
You retain ownership of journal entries, mood notes and other content you create. By using the AI features, you allow us to process your text through our language model to generate reflections, dream interpretation and insights — solely for delivering the requested response to you.
You are responsible for the content you create. Do not include content that is illegal, abusive or infringing third-party rights.
6. Prohibited use
- Reverse-engineering, scraping or attacking the Service.
- Using the Service to harm others or violate any law.
- Sharing your account credentials.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. We do not guarantee specific wellness outcomes. Always consult a qualified professional for medical or mental-health concerns.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LumAlma will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill arising from use of the Service.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or threaten the safety of the Service. You may terminate your account at any time.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified via the app or by email; continued use constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kazakhstan. Any dispute will be resolved in courts of competent jurisdiction.
